With the new season around the corner, adidas just dropped the third kits for five major European clubs, sealing off this year’s kit trifecta with a throwback to ‘80s and ‘90s.
The iconic trefoil has exclusively been used for adidas’ Originals collections and become synonymous with the brand’s street style clothing. But with The Three Stripes celebrating 75 years of sportswear in 2025, the trefoil is back for five of the brand’s select football clubs – Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Arsenal’s new kit is a vibrant, stylish design made for Europe’s biggest stage, drawing inspiration from the Gunners’ away kits from the mid-‘90s for a modern take on a colourful classic. The Red Devil returns for United’s third kit this season, arriving in black and complementing the white base of the simple jersey black, white and red jersey – the colours of the United flag.
Juventus' night sky-inspired jersey arrives in navy blue accented in gold, with the club crest replaced by a gilded silhouette of the Juventus zebra. Bayern’s collared kit nods to the club’s golden years, bringing back the gold-rimmed badge from the 1970s for a full retro look. Real Madrid’s strip merges timeless elegance with modernity. An all-over ‘RMCF’ graphic subtly accents the dark grey base, with ivory details standing out on the badge and collar.
The new third kits are available to purchase now on the adidas website and select retailers.
