adidas and Ajax just dropped their third kit for the 2024/25 season, drawing inspiration from the streets of Amsterdam for the wavy release.

The jersey features a pale grey base, accented with wine red and black details. A darker grey, abstract design mimics the sprawling cityscape of Amsterdam, converging to create a sequence of St. Andrew’s crosses down the middle – a nod to the city’s flag.

Alternating maroon and black stripes decorate the shoulders, whilst the Ajax badge is coloured in the reddish-brown colour and outlined in black. The shade of red pays homage to the colour of the ‘Amsterdammertje’ – traffic bollards embossed with St. Andrew’s crosses that are unique to Amsterdam.

Like the other shirts Ajax will don this season, the three crosses of the city are stamped on the back collar for a final flourish.

The new kit is available to purchase now on the adidas website, Ajax’s online store and select retailers.
