adidas and Arsenal have unveiled the Gunners’ away kit for 2023/24, cementing their status as world football’s “culture club” with a homage to their local roots.

Launched in a video presenting some of the best and brightest to come out of Islington, the stars on and off the field don a shirt that is as equally eye-catching — inspired by the journey match-goers make on their way out of North London.

Depicting those journeys is a collection of black lines that map out the club’s home borough, contrasting against a vivid, shock-yellow base complemented by light blue accents along the kit’s detailing and branding — a vibrant kit representative of the club’s rich history of culture and creativity.

Speaking on the new release, Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli said: “I love it! It’s a fresh look and it really brings to life the style of Arsenal. Our supporters are incredible and it’s great that adidas and the club have created this design to celebrate them and our roots in north London.

Mikel Arteta’s side knows how to stand out on the pitch, and when this kit makes its debut against the MLS All-Stars on July 19th, that statement will only ring more true.
