Nike have just dropped off Tottenham Hotspur’s 22/23 home shirt, which draws inspiration from the unique culture of the club’s local borough.
Celebrating N17 as being an area that is far more than just a postcode, the stripped-back design was selected by Nike to bring an air of authenticity and togetherness amongst fans.
Arriving in Spurs’ classic lilywhite, the jersey is accentuated by neon volt detail that is visible throughout and complemented by navy blue shorts and white socks – with the jersey made from 100% recycled polyester.
The new Home Kit launch arrives with a video from innovative London film maker Salim Adam and showcases the shirt as a symbol of unity and pride.
The visuals capture raw player and fan portraits paying homage to the modern tapestry of Tottenham and its fans. executed through a contemporary art direction inspired by David Hockney’s patchwork photography technique.
The piece features male and female squad members, Academy players, Club legends and an authentic fan voiceover, with a number of ‘blink-and-you’ll-miss-them’ discoverable moments for true fans.
