adidas and Wales Bonner are back with another collection for SS24, this time the collaboration is inspired by East African runners and their enduring legacy in the world of sport.
With a campaign shot in Iten, Kenya – also known as the 'Home of Champions' – Wales Bonner’s latest adidas designs draw upon archival running-looks, transforming them for the 2020s with bold prints and patterns.
Bright tracksuits and T-shirts in shades of green, blue, yellow and orange pop against earth-toned jackets and accessories. A wide range of shorts also feature, with that distinct, high-thigh cut synonymous with running gear of the ‘80s.
Accessories round off the collection, with retro-inspired bags featuring the adidas trefoil and Wales Bonner signatures for a sporty-chic look. A drawstring bag arrives in chartreuse and brown – a perfect match for the knitted, checkered co-ord.
It wouldn’t be an adidas x Wales Bonner collection without the footwear, though. The SL 76 trainers take centre stage, arriving in two new colourways of baby blue and mustard yellow. And of course Sambas are on the menu with Wales Bonner’s motif stitched details taking on a muted palette of dusty taupe, ivory and blue.
The latest adidas x Wales Bonner collection is available to purchase now on the adidas website and select retailers.
