adidas and Gucci have finally unveiled their first-ever collaboration.

A collection that sees elevated silhouettes meet the combined creative codes of adidas originals and Gucci, to "create something distinctly new."

Still fresh from linking up with Prada, Gucci have now become the latest high-fashion imprint to fuse their luxury aesthetic with adidas' sportswear roots. The collection sees Gucci's high brow aesthetic blended alongside Three Stripes and trefoils, with co-branded pieces including knitwear and suiting, through to berets and balaclavas.

Accessories and footwear will probably become the most in-demand pieces upon release, with adi's staple terrace-wear silhouette, the Gazelle, the key footwear model from the collection. The shoe is dressed in luxe fabrics and prints such as snakeskin, velvet, and embossed with the classic "GG" motif.

Elsewhere, highlights include a set of co-branded goalkeeper gloves (see above) which look as ready to stop shots at Port Vale as they do ready to show stop a Vogue editorial.
