Luke Shaw has linked up with adidas Spezial and C.P. Company to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Italian label.
Synonymous with football culture, both brands have united to co-create a two-piece capsule that includes the Italia SPZL silhouette and a reworked version of the iconic adidas Haslingden Jacket.
An updated version of the famous adidas trainer, the Italia SPZL is constructed from white full grain leather, with the inclusion of green and red details plus alternate branding from each label. The Spezial swing tag is executed in white leather and is also embossed with the C.P. Company 'sailor' graphic.
This timeless silhouette arrives packaged in a commemorative camouflage print box connecting it to the jacket, and comes with an extra pair of outsoles allowing the owner to rock the new age classics for as long as possible.
The Haslingden jacket, incorporates a 1970s Italian camouflage print and has been created from 50 fili – a C.P. Company proprietary fabric – while the hood has been replaced with a design from the Italian label.
The launch of the collection is accompanied by a campaign film shot by long-time Spezial collaborators &SON, alongside stills from iconic music photographer Kevin Cummins starring Luke Shaw.
A celebration of three football culture icons – both on and off the pitch – the adidas Spezial by C.P. Company collaborative collection arrives in limited quantities on October 14th, and is available exclusively through C.P. Company flagship stores and END. Clothing.
