2020 marks the 30-year anniversary of Nike's iconic Air Max 90 and to celebrate, Nike are welcoming three new silhouettes to the Air Max family that take elements of the classic sneaker and reinterpret them for a new generation.  

Nike will unleash the Air Max 2090, Air Max Verona and the Air Max FlyEase this year – with the Swoosh priming three cutting-edge additions that look to the future of Air.  The Air Max 2090 Nike leverages the same DNA that made the Air Max 90 trainer so iconic 30 years ago and are therefore the company’s current shoe of the future, and is set to release in spring 2020.

The Air Max Verona is based on the very first women’s-focused Air Max shoe – the Air Verona. The Air Max Verona was released in 1992 and this new silhouette pays homage to the original running trainer and joins a great line of female exclusive Air Max trainers that includes the Nike Air Max Thea and the Nike Air Max Dia. The Nike Air Max Verona will drop on February 15.

For the third new Nike Air Max instalment Nike have reimagined their use of FlyEase technology and have applied it to a Sportswear trainer for the first time, combining the technology with the original 1990 Air Max 90 design. The FlyEase will drop on March 9.

In other sneaker news, Nike have also brought back their Air Max Plus III sneaker for 2020.
