Nike have just dropped off the Mercurial Dream Speed 2, a boot primed for the paciest players in the game.

Nike use a palette of bold colours to represent the various frequencies of light (and their corresponding speed) to the numbers highlighted on the outlined Nike Swoosh (299,792,458 meters per second — or the speed of light), speed is the name of the game for the Mercurial Dream Speed 2.

Featuring a wavey, gradient design, the boots take inspiration from the iconic Mercurial Vapor III, in a silo that features a streamlined upper along with a Nike Aerowtrac zone for high-speed play and supercharged traction.

The boot is set to be donned by the likes of Sam Kerr, Kylian Mbappé and Cristiano Ronaldo imminently, with all three elite Nike athletes all set to bag goals aplenty in the new boot while chasing silverware for their respective clubs.
