Nike have just unveiled Chelsea’s home kit for the 2021-22 campaign, a jersey made from 100% recycled polyester fabric which arrives in a wavey, kaleidoscopic design.
While the jersey packs plenty of 60's vibes with it's vibrant design ethos, the bold new look marks the start of a bright new era at the club, with the Blues Men's and Women's sides set to play in Champions League finals this month.
The eye-catching, multi-pattern design arrives in Chelsea's classic royal blue with hits of yellow cutting down the sidetape and Swoosh, with the print continuing onto the shorts and socks.
To reference the psychedelia and 60's inspiration of the Blues' new look, Chelsea launched the kit with a visual featuring The Zombies cult track "Time Of The Season", with the teaser starring Champions League finalists galore in the form of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi alongside Fran Kirby, Pernille Harder and Magda Eriksson.
It's that time of the season. ??

“This jersey is the most eye-catching yet and is so unique from the others I’ve worn,” says Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount. “I think it’ll be a big hit with Blues across the globe.”
“I feel like the kit really represents this younger generation rising up the ranks and I love the sustainability behind it,” says Mount.
The 2021-22 Chelsea home kit will be worn for the first time by the men’s team May 15 followed by the women’s team May 16. It releases to Nike Members May 13 on nike.com and at retailers May 20.
