Skepta has announced that his next Nike SkAir silhouette will be arriving in 2021, after the release was delayed a year by Covid.
The Boy Better Know artist took to Twitter recently to provide an update on the forthcoming SkAir 5, writing: "#SkAIRA5 out 2021. Pandemic put a spanner in the works but I promise you they’re worth the wait."

The SkAir 5's will be Skepta's fifth collab sneaker with Nike following the successful releases of the Nike Air Max 97 SK, Nike Air Max 97/BW Sk Air II, Nike Air Max Deluxe SK and the SK Shox TL.
Back in 2019, reports indicated that Big Smoke will offer up a take on the Air Tailwind V in a “Black/Chrome” colourway that will come complete with Skepta’s SK branding. Whether the same model will be used by the duo this time remains to be seen, with the delayed release meaning Skepta could draw for a completely new silo this time around.
