adidas has unveiled the new match ball for the upcoming Champions League season – and it's an absolute killer.

In a sharp departure from the traditional design, the colouring of the match ball has been inverted – the base of the ball is now an electric blue, while the iconic UEFA Champions League stars are a clean white.

The change has been made to further highlight the stars. The blue graphic print is based on the Champions League 'blue', while the stars have a glossy finish. The graphic print has been created to represent the blur of motion, perfect for another end-to-end Champions League campaign.
