adidas have just dropped off Bayern Munich’s clean third shirt for 2021/22, with the Bavarian’s alternate kit featuring a bespoke design inspired by the mountain panorama that envelops Munich.

Paying homage to the surrounding landscape of Bavaria, the kit arrives in a snow camo print that features a sublimated graphic inspired by the mountain panorama around Munich.

Using a clean, white-blue colour scheme, the mountain-inspired design references the roots of Germany’s record champions and their desire to stay at the top of the game while offering peak performance in it’s fabric.

The shirt’s Three Stripes logo and the numbers pop in a contrasting red colourway, with “Mia san mia” woven into the neck area, with accents on the sleeves and the collar arriving in dark blue.

Speaking of the new shirt, Thomas Muller said: “Being a born-and-bred Bavarian, I particularly like this look. I love the mountains, I love my home, and I think it’s nice we can illustrate to the whole world this special attitude to life we have here with this jersey.”

New FC Bayern Women player Saki Kumagai added: “I’ve just joined FC Bayern and felt at home from day one. Mountains always have a motivating effect on me, and they remind me of my home in Sapporo. FC Bayern is known for always having the highest goals, in both men’s and women’s football. That’s why we’re all here.”

The shirt will be donned by Bayern in their Supercup game against Borussia Dortmund and is available to cop now from the adidas webstore. Get a closer look at the it below.
