The Basement has doubled down on early 90s energy with two super cold takes on the Nike Air Max 90.

Following up on the monumental success of their 2017 collaboration on the Dunk Low, London-based community powerhouse The Basement is back in the spotlight as they channel their creative energies into the Air Max 90.

With the iconic silhouettes anniversary celebrations just on the horizon, the selection of the canvas was a natural choice, and one that effortlessly executes the builds layered aesthetic. The first take comes fitted with a monochrome palette of varied greys and sees the return of interchangeable Velcro Swooshes in four finishes.

A simpler approach was adopted for the second colourway, melding a grey base with a bold orange contrast at the tongue, further offset by a metallic silver medial Swoosh. Both colourways rep the Basement slogan “Real People Do Real Things” along the full length of their translucent outsoles, with shorthand version appears on the lace tips.
