Notting Hill Carnival is around the corner and London-based streetwear label Corteiz is seizing the moment by dropping a special jersey just in time for the annual Caribbean festival.

The ‘Carni’ jersey remixes the brand’s ‘Stellar’ release, which was worn in Miami, Florida earlier this summer for Dave’s ‘Santan Cup’. But instead of emulating the Stars and Stripes iteration – heavily inspired by the USMNT’s 1994 World Cup strip – this jersey swaps the colours of the American flag for the Jamaican one.

The kit’s base is yellow, with green detailing the crossover, V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs. The number 18 sits in the middle of the chest, with ‘CRTZ’ and ‘rulestheworld’ taking the positions of club crest and brand logo.

The brand’s signature star logo covers the shirt with its black marled design providing a bold contrast to the ‘Stellar’ kit’s white colourway.

The jersey will be available to purchase on the Corteiz website from 7pm BST on 18 August, with orders shipping from Monday to arrive in time for Carnival.

Take a closer look at the ‘Carni’ jersey below.
