Jadon Sancho touched down in Paris over the weekend to help Nike launch its latest Mercurial boot.
The Mercurial is arguably the most iconic and influential boot in Nike's history, and the 2019 edition is built for the quickest and most dynamic players on the planet – so Sancho's selection as the face of the new Mercurial 360 is no surprise.
The wavy boot is built with the strongest Flyknit material to date and weighs in at under 200 grams, making it the lightest Mercurial yet. The visuals of the boot are also next level, with the Swoosh and a "Just Do It" motif wrapping underfoot – only possible because of the Mercurial 360's unique soleplate. The boot is also dripped out with the iconic Nike Sportswear logo placed on the heel.
Sancho launched the boot in Paris, one day before the boot took to the pitch for the first time in the Women's World Cup Final. The 19-year-old baller – shaping up to be one of Nike's faces of the future – laced up in the new boots to play some of the city's best young talents on an epic all-blue small-sided pitch.
