Nike just unveiled Chelsea's home kit for the 2019/20 season and it's one of the boldest kits we're likely to see all summer.
The all-blue home kit is inspired by Stamford Bridge with the iconic jersey covered in a collage of images that highlight details from all four stands of Chelsea's home stadium. The end result is a unique pattern that instantly ranks this as one of the most ambitious jerseys we've seen in the Premier League, indicating that Nike want to create the same hype towards its club jerseys as it recently had around releases for the likes of Nigeria and Australia.
The Stamford Bridge-themed shirt also features a stylish V-neck, while a red and white ‘CFC’ monogram decorates the back of the collar. Inside the shirt, a Lion borrowed from the club crest is featured with the ‘PRIDE OF LONDON’ written around it.
The new 2019/20 Chelsea home kit will be worn for the first time on May 4th during the club’s final league home game of the season, and will be available from May 2nd on nike.com/chelsea.
