PUMA has linked with size? to celebrate 125 years of Manchester City and bless the Cityzens with a clean new sneaker pack.

Following PUMA’s recent capsule collection with Manchester City, the MCFC Pack delves into the PUMA Archive to bring back four classic silhouettes that celebrates the club’s community-focussed foundations, iconic moments in Man City's history, one of its best-known terraced stands and the streets surrounding the legendary grounds.

PUMA look back at City’s history with the PUMA Blue Star ‘Kippax’ and PUMA Crack ‘AAFC’ silhouettes. The ‘Kippax’ pays homage to City’s legendary old stand, the perch from which many fans watched some of City’s most memorable early moments take place. The Crack ‘AAFC’ model references Ardwick Association Football Club, the area where the club’s stadium in Hyde Road in Ardwick used to reside before starting a second chapter as Manchester City.

The PUMA Bluebird Whitworth shoe is influenced by the venue which was home to many of this era’s most iconic nights and performances, and embodies the vibe and festivities of the Hacienda. And the PUMA Crack ‘93:20’ references the spine-tingling moment where Sergio Agüero banged in the unforgettable goal that secured City's first-ever Premier League title.

To celebrate the launch of this limited-edition collection, PUMA and size? hosted an event in Manchester for fans and special guests.

The event showcased the MCFC pack for the first time, a selection of football shirts recreated by author and self-confessed ‘kit-head’ Neal Heard and an exhibition of portrait photography by Dean Davies depicting City fans styled out for game day including the new sneakers.

The night also featured a panel exploring the connection between style and football featuring host Danny Fahey – founder and creative director of Thirty Pound Gentleman, Dan Gambino - Man City superfan and sneakerhead, Gary James – MCFC club historian and Neal Heard himself, with ex-Hacienda DJ Jon Da Silva shutting down proceedings with a banging throwback set.

Check out the best of the action from the event below and cop the new PUMA MCFC Pack exclusively via size? stores from October 4th.
