The NWSL’s work with Nike has led to some of the coldest kit releases in recent years, and Chicago Red Stars’ new home shirt is no exception.

Dubbed the ‘Foundation,’ the club has swapped its signature, patriotic red, white, and blue colourway for a sleek blacked-out number.

The art deco-inspired design features interlocking silver stars on a black base, with four red stars adorning the jersey's front - a recurring motif found in previous releases that represent the club laying a winning framework ahead of a new season.

With a design that draws from the style and elegance of the Windy City itself whilst reflecting the club’s grit and tenacity, this jersey is bound to be a hit on both the pitch and the streets. Wearing a kit that mimics the night sky, the Red Stars will be looking to put their opps to sleep at SeatGeek stadium this season.
