Paris-based clothing brand Pièces Uniques just dropped a vintage style knit football jersey inspired by founder Edmond Luu’s home county of Seine-Saint-Denis.
The kit features a tan base with wavy, brown stripes, drawing on retro styles from the ‘90s, from the boxy fit to the chic collar. A bespoke Pièces Uniques FC badge sits above the heart, whilst the brand logo is stitched in red on the opposite side of the chest.
For a shirt sponsor, Villa Picta – Luu’s hometown written in Latin – commands the front of the shirt in red and tan. On the back, Saint-Denis’ iconic ‘93’ serves as a kit number, stitched in beige and outlined in red.
The earth-toned jersey dropped for the first time on 30 June, and it was so nice it sold out in three hours. Due to incredibly popular demand, Pièces Uniques are bringing it back so everyone can get into this drip.
The ‘Maille Villa Picta’ jersey is available for pre-order now on the Pièces Uniques website.
